PUJUAN / HELP CENTER
Platform help
Learn how to use Pujuan, from creating an account to submitting a mock paper.
Getting started
How do I start a mock exam?
Choose a grade and paper under Mock exams. Review the question count, duration and marks before starting. You need an account to take an exam.
Is this an official ABRSM service?
Pujuan provides practice and study information, not official registration, results or certificates. Confirm official requirements through ABRSM.
Do I need an app?
No. Use your phone, tablet or computer browser. The mobile app preview does not currently provide a download.
Answers and progress
When are answers saved?
Submitting a question sends the answer to the server. Some answers are also cached in your browser. Typing an answer or seeing a local copy is not proof of a successful submission.
How do I resume an exam?
Log in with the same account and choose Continue on the paper, or open the available exam from your history. Availability depends on the exam state.
Does closing the browser stop the timer?
Closing the browser does not automatically stop exam timing. Follow the countdown and pause controls. The server handles exams that reach their time limit.
What if I lose connection or saving fails?
Restore your connection and reopen the original paper with the same account. Check the answer card and exam history. Do not assume failed submissions were saved, and do not rely on shared-device caches.
Submission and results
How do I submit and see explanations?
Use the review page to check your answer card and unanswered questions, then confirm submission. Results show your score, submitted answers, correct answers and available explanations.
Can I edit answers after submission?
Submitted and marked exams cannot be edited. Review your results and use the paper’s available controls if you want to attempt it again.
Why is my score different from what I expected?
Marking depends on question rules; some multiple-choice or grouped questions require all answers to be correct. Check the instructions and explanations. Mock results are not official results.
Accounts and email
What if I forget my password?
Use Forgot password on the login page and enter your registered email. When eligible and delivery is available, a reset link will arrive. It expires in 30 minutes and can be used once.
Why have I not received an email?
Check the address, spam folder and filters. Wait before requesting again. Requests are rate limited. If email is unavailable, the current environment cannot send mail normally.
How do I change my password or verify my email?
Open Account settings after logging in. You can view your details, request verification and change your password. Password changes or resets require a new login. Username and email changes are not available online.
Does logging out delete my account?
No. Logging out ends your current login session. See the privacy policy for information requests and current limitations; automated deletion and data export are not available.
Devices and display
What if notation fails to load?
Use a recent browser, check your connection and allow notation to load. Try refreshing, adjusting browser zoom or disabling interfering extensions. Larger screens may be easier for notation drag interactions.
Where can I find registration guidance?
The Chinese information hub includes exam registration, fee references and exam FAQs. This page covers Pujuan itself. Sample information does not replace official notices.
